Consecration Reading Week 3

January 20 - January 26

Consecration Reading Week 3
January 20-26, 2025

Day 15 Authority in Prayer
Quote: As children of God, we have been given authority over the
enemy’s snares; let’s grasp it.
Today’s Scripture: Luke 10: 18-20 (NLT)
18  “Yes,” he told them, “I saw Satan fall from heaven like
lightning!  19  Look, I have given you authority over all the
power of the enemy, and you can walk among snakes and
scorpions and crush them. Nothing will injure you.  20  But
don’t rejoice because evil spirits obey you; rejoice
because your names are registered in heaven.”

Day 16 In it for the Long Haul
Quote: How can you make an impact in your relationships,
family, community and mission.
Today’s Scripture: Philippians 1: 1-11 (NLT)
Grab your Bible and read this passage. Assignment.
What stands out to you in Paul’s prayer for the Philippians?
Think about who God has placed in your
life to encourage you and help you be more like Jesus.
This could be someone in our congregation, a friend, or
even someone in your family. Write or purchase a card
for this person (or persons!) telling them how thankful
you are for them. You may even want to include a verse
from Philippians 1.

Day 17 Unity in Love
Quote: We, the body of Christ are called to love one another in
spite of our imperfections.
Today’s Scripture: John 17: 20-23 (NLT)

Day 18 Interdependence Day
Quote: As believers, we are in the world together as the body
of Christ; let’s use our gifts for His glory.
Today’s Scripture: Romans 12: 3-8
Grab your Bibles and reflect on the passage. God loves
diversity and yet He calls us to be one. There is no such thing
as private Christianity. The Body of Christ is an amazing part of
God’s plan to bless the world.

Day 19 Spirit Filled Boldness
Quote: Only by the infilling of the Holy Spirit can we preach and go
with boldness and the strength of God.
Today’s Scripture: Acts 1: 6-8 (NLT)
6  So when the apostles were with Jesus, they kept asking him,
“Lord, has the time come for you to free Israel and restore our
kingdom?”7  He replied, “The Father alone has the authority to set
those dates and times, and they are not for you to know.  8  But you
will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will
be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem,
Judea, Samaria, and to the ends of the
earth.”

Day 20 Prayer Walking
Quote: Jesus’ encouragement for us to pray and ask helps us
grow in faith and on mission.
Today’s Scripture: Colossian 4: 2-6 (NLT)
2  Devote yourselves to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful
heart.  3  Pray for us, too, that God will give us many opportunities
to speak about his mysterious plan concerning Christ. That is why
I am here in chains.  4  Pray that I will proclaim this message as
clearly as I should. 5  Live wisely among those who are not believers
and make the most of every opportunity.  6  Let your conversation be
gracious and attractive so that you will have the right response for
everyone.

Day 21 Strength to Soar
Quote: Reflect on the blessings and lessons of 21 focused days
of prayer, fasting and consecration. Prepare for a future of
closeness to God and pursuing His presence daily with passion
and intensity.

Today’s Scripture: Colossians 1: 11-14 (NLT)
11  We also pray that you will be strengthened with all his glorious
power so you will have all the endurance and patience you need.
May you be filled with joy, [c] 12 always thanking the Father. He has
enabled you to share in the inheritance that belongs to his people,
who live in the light. 13 For he has rescued us from the kingdom of
darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of his dear
Son, 14  who purchased our freedom [d] and forgave our sins.

Today as we conclude this time of consecration, prayer and
Fasting. Let us continue to “MOVE FORWARD”, in our desire to be
more like Jesus our Lord. I pray you received the strength you
lacked, so you can enter into the inheritance we don’t deserve.
Let us welcome His glorious power and renewed confidence to
enjoy the riches appointed for all who are rescued, ransomed, and,
redeemed, forgiven, and adopted by the Father.
Why languish on the outskirts of abundance when you have been
invited into overflowing life? Don’t give up on the promise of
sowing and reaping good. “Move Forward!”

You have an appointment with purpose and the reward of eternal
Destiny.

Again, I say. “MOVE FORWARD!”
